Okay so I'm not going to let myself start having an existential crisis because of how pale I've gotten, because there's so much bigger things for us to talk about . There's so much happening right now. Here in America, families are being attacked for having the audacity to not live the same experience as the old straight politicians that represent them. And overseas, politicians are making choices that represent their own megalomania too, not the good of their people or that of the world. These are just the examples that we see right now. . My biggest takeaways here are that we all need to work together to take down these systems of oppression. It's not all of Russia, it's not all of Florida, it's not all of Texas. It's the people in charge. It's the system. . Which leads me to point two, and why this picture is relevant. You guys have worked with me over the past God knows how many years to raise over 10K for @extralife4kids and together we earned a medal! Proof of life! Surgery done yesterday and I feel almost like a real person again! Thank you so much to everyone who helped me out. I would have been in a huge pickle without you. Insert 30 minute rant about the American healthcare system. . I've talked about this before but to anyone new, I had a severe deviated septum that made it hard to breathe, messed with my ability to equalize in pressure changes, and led to sinus infections way more frequently than your average bear. All bad things for a flight attendant. So I got it fixed.. but of course insurance decided to make it difficult at the 11th hour. . Anyway that's what happened but I got it done and it's going to be okay. While I'm recovering I can't do much so I'm gonna do some cosplay things!!! . #LeahroseFTW #selfcare #lolnotreally #medical #nosie #boop #waitno #pleasenoboop #flightattendant
