Leaving Hawaii in just a few short hours. I don't know if I'm procrastinating like normal or if it's because I really don't want to go. I'll be back in just a few months for a visit and I know Seattle will be awesome too!

Hi new friends!!!! I was so happy to meet you at Wizard World Chicago! (And hi old friends!!!! I'm glad you're my super awesome khalasar!) A quick FAQ since I've got a lot of the same question: 1. No, I'm not from Chicago. I live in Hawaii and am moving to the PNW in 2 weeks ahhhhhh. My next con is PAX West (formerly known as PAX Prime) 2. I was kind of a guest of the show? So obviously Fabian Nicieza (one of the creators of Deadpool!) LOVED the recent Deadpool movie. I mean, come on- it was great. So if you go to Sea Life Park, they have an awesome touch pool exhibit and you can crawl in a little cubby hole and see fishies all around you! Mermaids off duty not included. Funniest Comic-Con International story with Japanime Games: So I'm handing out the convention exclusive and decide to give one to the really nice security guards that are walking past. My boss, Rich, notices that they have weird shiny stuff hanging from their utility belts and he asked what they were. One of the guards told us that they were spot checking for weapons that were not yet peace bonded. My sassy ass decides to chime in with "you missed these guns!" and flex obnoxiously right in front of them. The security guard pauses for... maybe a second before taking off two of the official, logo-printed peace bonding bands and wrapping them around my bicep. And that's the story of Leah being peace bonded at con.
